Celebrate the launch of Martha Byrne's new web series,  Weight in style and see an advanced screening of the pilot!  The party is set for Wednesday, October 8th at 7:00pm at Galway Pub, located between 5th and Madison at 7 E. 36th Street in New York, NY.  The event is open to the public, with basic tickets priced at $50. I meant to share this short film months ago. I ran across it while I was doing research for my interview with Martha Byrne (ex-Lily/Rose, ATWT; ex-Andrea Floyd, GH). Fans of ATWT will be particularly interested in this film, not only because Martha served as an executive producer, but because it stars Paulo Seganti (ex-Damian, ATWT) and was written, directed, and produced by Paul Leyden (ex-Simon, ATWT). Starring Malin Akerman (The Proposal, 27 Dresses), Bye Bye Sally  is just fifteen minutes long and well worth your time. Check it out below: 

In the coming months many people will flock to the movies to escape the cooler temps; and no matter what your taste there will undoubtedly be something for everyone. If you like inspirational, faith-based films like God's Not Dead and Heaven is for Real , there's a similar film coming to theaters next month that appears to be another must-see. Starring Party of Five alum Lacey Chabert, and written and directed by Y&R' s Corbin Bernsen, Christian Mingle follows the life of Gwyneth Hayden (Chabert), a successful career woman looking for the right man to complete her life. On a whim she signs up on the dating website ChristianMingle.com and ends up on a journey of self-discovery where she reclaims her faith in God. Christian Mingle is set to open October 10th! What if you could see John Stamos everywhere you looked? Well, that's just what's about to happen, according to  Deadline.com . The actor is set to star in a new ABC drama series called "Members Only." It's a midseason show so it likely won't begin until early 2015. In addition, Stamos will be working both on and offscreen on a new comedy series, the name of which has yet to be announced. If that weren't enough he is also involved in a possible Full House reboot and is co-producing a Beach Boys-themed musical!  Have mercy!  For more on John Stamos and all of his many projects click here .

Billy Miller For months the rumors have been swirling that Emmy-winning actor Billy Miller (ex-Richie, AMC; ex-Billy, Y&R) would be joining General Hospital in the coveted role of Jason Morgan, previously played by Steve Burton (Dylan, Y&R). Today, those rumors were finally confirmed when General Hospital Executive Producer, Frank Valentini sent out the following tweet:  What do you think of this casting choice?
