Answer the Call By Paula Tudor The new Ghostbusters movie has generated a lot of buzz. It seems people have been talking about it since before it was even made. That is why I am surprised more people do not seem to be excited about it. I have to admit I went back and forth about whether I wanted to see this film or not. I am always wary of remakes, particularly when it pertains to movies that have become classics. As a child of the 80s I remember the original Ghostbusters movies vividly and fondly. My brother had all of the toys associated with the film; and I am pretty sure I had the theme song on some of my favorite mix tapes. So if, like me, you were a fan of the original Ghostbusters and have been hesitant to give this new Ghostbusters a chance, hesitate no more. If you are looking for a fun summer movie, look no further than Central Intelligence, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart. Opening the same weekend as Finding Dory, I suspect this film may have been overlooked by some, especially since it is not suitable for young kids. However, I have no doubt that teens and adults will love this movie because it is the perfect summer escape. Central Intelligence is one of those movies that almost slipped under my radar. I only became aware of it when I saw the trailer on television. It would seem that the movies creating the most buzz this summer are, of course, Finding Dory, and the upcoming release of the new, all-female Ghostbusters, opening in July. Since I was not exactly clamoring to see Finding Dory, I was glad that Central Intelligence came along because lately there have not been many movies worth paying to watch.
