The Fallout: GH

As satisfying as it was to see Carly finally confront Jax about keeping the truth from her in order to protect Jerry, I actually found myself agreeing with Jax. And believe me no one is more shocked by that statement than I am, but it is true, for once Jax acted as the voice of reason. If Carly does not want Michael to follow in Sonny's footsteps then she should not have encouraged covering up Claudia's murder. I thought the whole reason Carly made Sonny sign over custody was to prevent his lifestyle from affecting their kids, yet she is allowing Michael to actually learn from him. And as Jax pointed out, Michael will likely encounter long-term psychological issues as a result of what he did, especially if he doesn't receive proper help. He was also correct in his assessment of the cover-up itself in that the truth will eventually come out anyway. In fact the truth already seems to be coming out. Aside from the fact that the entire town already suspects that Sonny or Jason murdered Claudia, Johnny has decided to try to find proof, and Dante has volunteered to help him. This alliance will undoubtedly cause trouble for Sonny considering that Dante has already been working to build a case against him and Maxie told Johnny about seeing a bloody hand print on Sonny's shirt. So at some point Sonny may be forced to accept the blame for Claudia's murder in order to protect Michael. On the other hand Jason may be the one who has to take the blame for her murder, considering that someone apparently saw him standing over her body and took pictures of it. Then of course there is the possibility that they will both be implicated in her murder, leaving Michael with yet another burden to carry.

My New Obsession: L.A. Macabre

I can't believe it has almost been five years since I first told you about the web series L.A. Macabre .  As you may recall, L.A. Macabre is very much a show within a show, where the main characters have a web series called L.A. Macabre, which explores notorious, real-life crime stories in Los Angeles.  The focus of that show soon shifts to a former cult called "The New Family," bringing a lot of unwanted attention to Ryan, Jamie, and Colin, the show's creators.  This ultimately leads to Jamie's mysterious disappearance in the last episode of season 1. Ryan Bartley (Jamie) in Season 2 of L.A. Macabre Recently, I had the privilege of getting a sneak peek of L.A. Macabre's long-awaited second season and all I can say is WOW! As impressed as I was by the show's first season, season two surpassed all of my expectations. Everything is bigger this season - the show's settings, the storyline, and the exceptionally talented cast. I particul...
