The Wait is Almost Over for AMC and OLTL!

The wait is almost over! All My Children and One Life to Live will be returning April 29th on Hulu and iTunes. For those of you who don't like watching programs on your computer you can watch these shows on your tv if you have a Hulu Plus subscription and a device capable of streaming Hulu (apple tv, xbox, wii, various blu-ray players and tvs). Hulu is currently offering a free one week trial, after that it is about $8 a month. I'm assuming you can still watch these shows for free on basic Hulu but it will require you to view them on your computer. As for iTunes, I'm not sure what the specifications will be for watching these shows, but when I find out I will post details here immediately. In the meantime, here are a few links you will find helpful:

Sean Kanan's Studio City Brings Together Daytime Heavy Hitters!

Veteran soap actor Sean Kanan is launching a new web series this week called "Studio City." The show, which is described as 'a love letter to soaps' brings together many of daytime's brightest, including Tristan Rogers, Sarah Brown, Patrika Darbo, and Carolyn Hennessy. The entire first season of "Studio City" will begin streaming on Amazon Prime December 20th. On a side note, I will be chatting with Sean tomorrow on my show Paula's Soapbox LIVE at 6|5c 3pm PST .   The interview will stream directly on  YouTube and will be available to watch in its entirety following the LIVE broadcast.

My New Obsession: L.A. Macabre

I can't believe it has almost been five years since I first told you about the web series L.A. Macabre .  As you may recall, L.A. Macabre is very much a show within a show, where the main characters have a web series called L.A. Macabre, which explores notorious, real-life crime stories in Los Angeles.  The focus of that show soon shifts to a former cult called "The New Family," bringing a lot of unwanted attention to Ryan, Jamie, and Colin, the show's creators.  This ultimately leads to Jamie's mysterious disappearance in the last episode of season 1. Ryan Bartley (Jamie) in Season 2 of L.A. Macabre Recently, I had the privilege of getting a sneak peek of L.A. Macabre's long-awaited second season and all I can say is WOW! As impressed as I was by the show's first season, season two surpassed all of my expectations. Everything is bigger this season - the show's settings, the storyline, and the exceptionally talented cast. I particul...
