Only on a Soap: GH

The truth about Dante's identity was finally revealed on Tuesday's General Hospital, well sort of. Lulu overheard Dante and Ronnie talking on the pier, at which point she discovered that Dante is an undercover cop. Fortunately for Dante, Lulu will likely never remember making this discovery because, as it turned out, Lulu had been drugged during a Crimson photo shoot. Apparently she had mistakenly picked up someone else's drink, which just happened to contain a questionable substance. Strangely enough, Lulu obtained several moments of clarity while in this altered state. The first being when she deduced that Dante is an undercover cop, and the second when she admitted that she has feelings for him. Only on a soap can someone actually gain intelligence after being drugged. And only on a soap does an undercover cop meet with his superior in public every other day without expecting to get caught. How many close calls does Dante have to have before Ronnie finally tells him to just send his updates via e-mail?

  1. Can I just say that I love DanLu!?! I am glad that JMB is getting some action as she has been under utilized as of late. I had to laugh at your post..."she just happened to pick up the drink with a questionable substance"....I hope they elaborate on that a little. I mean was that simply so she could hear he was a cop and spend the night at his place??? I am curious to know who spiked the water at the photo shoot. Also, where was Maxie when her friend Lulu was falling over?? Weird but fun to watch DanLu in action!

  2. How could anyone not love DanLu? They are so cute together and there is far less angst there than there was when she was with Johnny. I'm glad that they are finally giving her a storyline too. She hasn't had much to do since breaking up with Johnny so it is good that they have found someone to place her into scenes with. I agree that they need to elaborate on what happened to her a little bit more. I'm not saying they need to create a full blown storyline out of it, but without a little bit of explaining those scenes seem a little too contrived. I wondered that about Maxie too. After I looked back at what she had said about Maxie's star potential, I thought so if Maxie was there how did she not realize Lulu had been drugged? Didn't anyone see her acting a little strange before she left the shoot? Moreover how did she ever make her way to the pier in that condition?

  4. Hi FutureTeach11!

I am looking forward to tomorrow's episode as well. There are all sorts of spoilers going around about it right now and I am anxious to see if any or all of it is true. Today's episode was definitely part 1 of a 2 or 3 part episode. It felt like it ended right in the middle of it, but I can't wait to write about what happens next! It should be a lot of fun!

All About Mia: DOOL

After months of allowing herself to be deceived and manipulated by Nicole and Stefano so that she could keep her baby's adoption intact, only to find out that said baby wasn't hers because her baby had died, one would think that Mia would have enough drama to last a lifetime. Instead it seems that she has picked up a few bad habits from Nicole because she has turned to manipulating Gabi in order to stake her claim on Chad, someone she didn't seem to want a few weeks ago. As if the Mia character wasn't irritating enough already, this newly calculative Mia is actually making me feel sorry for Gabi, which only makes her that much more irritating. I was stunned that she used Nicole's hearing as an opportunity to drive a wedge between Chad and Gabi, the same hearing that they were discussing her baby's death and the kidnapping of Will's baby sister. In doing this she not only undermined Will's importance in her life, but Sydney and Grace's as well...and p

Bad Goodbye: GH

Words cannot express how much I hate the way GH is writing Steve Burton out of the show. I realize his leaving sort of came as a surprise, but in my opinion they could have given him a better send off than the one he is getting. It feels extremely rushed and quite frankly a little convoluted. First of all we have Bernie with his sudden hand-wringing over something that supposedly happened almost a year ago; and he just has to meet Jason on the night he finally reunites with Sam...on the pier no less.  And don't even get me started on how Joe Scully and "Duke Lavery" are involved in all of this. Up until a few months ago Joe was an antiques dealer working in a little known shop that probably wasn't even being used as a front. In addition there is no way Jason would ever allow himself to be shot in the back. He would have looked around the pier to make sure he wasn't walking into an ambush before ever trying to talk to Bernie. However the most upsetting thing about
